Background

My name is Chris. I'm a photographer who lives in North Carolina, I specialize in Portrait, Nature, and Macro photography. My user name is Christophore, the nickname was given to me by my Latin teacher. For those who know Latin, it is my name (Christopher) put into the Vocative case.

Currently I live in Asheville, NC. I was born in Savannah, Georgia though. I run a small photography website which has yet to be completed. I spend a good majority of my time on Wikipedia, learning about... everything. I contribute whenever I see an article that I can help out with. I created an account while sitting in school bored one day, and have been on ever since. My two favorite cameras that I have had the pleasure of using are the Konica-Minolta DiMAGE Z10, and my personal favorite, the PENTAX K110D. I always keep a UV Haze filter on the lens, and sometimes throw on a Neutral Density filter.

Current Tools

Right now I use a Pentax K110D for which I have 5 lenses. I have a SMC Pentax-DA 18-55mm AF Zoom Lens, a lovely SMC Pentax-FA J 75-300mm, a RMC Tokina 35-105mm Zoom/Macro, a RMC Tokina 28mm Prime Wide Angle, and one SMC Pentax-M 50mm Prime which, for whatever reason, I rarely use.

In addition, I have a Konica Minolta DiMAGE Z10

I also have what I refer to as the "Camera Graveyard" for all my cameras that have just... given up.

Konica Minolta DiMAGE Z10: Broken sensor. Pentax ME Super: Sticky shutter, finally gave up and just stuck. And another Konica Minolta which has gone missing now... it had a stuck film advance and shutter.

• Sky Father: I have contributed various other cultures who worship a sky father, and better organized it. Currently I am working on finding the references left out by people.

• Myrrha: Translated entire article. (See Latin article of Myrrha)
