Hi, my name is Pierre, I live in Rigaud (Québec), in Canada, and I'm 37 years old.

My passion is astronomy; it has brought me to become President of the Centre français de Montréal (Montreal French Centre) of the Royal Astronomical Society of Canada and sister Société d'astronomie de Montréal (Montreal Astronomical Society) in 1993 (Librarian 1990, Director and then Secretary in 1992); Secretary of the Fédération des astronomes amateurs du Québec (Québec Federation of Amateur Astronomers) in 1994 and again since 2010; Co-Founder and President of the now-defunct Groupe d'astronomes amateurs Polaris also in 1994; Editor of the AstroInfo newsletter of the Fédération des astronomes amateurs du Québec since late 2003; and Director of the Laval Amateur Astronomers Club since 2009.

I'm also a member of the e-toiles Astronomy Club in Pointe-Claire and the Lunatics astronomy club in Hudson, and I've been a member of the Orion Astronomy Club in Salaberry-de-Valleyfield.

I work as a graphic artist in a Vaudreuil-Dorion natural health supplement manufacturer. I've been working in the graphics industry for the past 12+ years.
