Welcome to the user page of Conman33. My name is Conor Crawford and I'm a resident of Kansas City, Missouri and I like to say I'm an aspiring writer. I don't want to get ahead of myself and say I'm a professional. I'm big sports (particularly teams that hail from my hometown—Chiefs, Royals, and hopefully someday a hockey or basketball team).

I'm a college student at a nearby university and an English major with a political science minor. A while back a teacher of mine told me to get used to writing for mass media and talked to me about Wikipedia, which I thought he was joking about, but I caught onto it pretty quick.

It's addictive.

I'm also a huge music fan with my favorites being the Stones, the Dead, Phish, Oasis, Radiohead, Bob Dylan, and more. I describe myself as a Democrat but I like to stay open-minded, no matter how opinionated and passionate I am about my side of politics.

Most of my articles are about the Chiefs and Royals, politics, my beautiful city, and even some small, random things. I've been contributing to Wikipedia officially for over 3½ years now (first official edit was on September 6, 2005 according to my contribution page), but probably about 6–8 months before that I didn't have an official user name and I made some minor edits to a few pages.

I am a member of WikiProject Kansas City as well as WikiProject National Football League, and occasionally revert edits to pages that I created if I find out that they've been messed with.

I created the NFL subproject for the Kansas City Chiefs and I'm welcome to any help or feedback you can provide.

I also have profiles on Wikinews and Wikimedia Commons under the same name Conman33, so check out some of the contributions I make to the news and photography worlds.

I'm not really a super Wikipedia addict, but I'll occasionally keep watch over my articles and usually start new ones. I'll even see some grammatical errors every so often and change them, because that's the English major in me. I've got a pretty busy life, but I do my best on Wikipedia to help contribute and make the site successful in spreading knowledge. I'm not very sharp on the special formatting and tricks, but I get by just fine.

I encourage feedback on my articles and also your support in expanding them. Just don't you dare think about vandalizing my work! (Don't be an asshole!) Thanks!

[edit] My most important contributions to Wikipedia

Work on Kansas City Chiefs — My first edit to Kansas City Chiefs, on March 19, 2006, and it's promotion to Good Article status on February 18, 2009

Breaking news of Michael Jackson's health scare (and subsequent death) — I added these edits once I saw a news ticker: Edit 1 to describe that he had suffered cardiac arrest and then was rushed to the hospital, and then another minor edit to add the "current event" tag at the top of the page. conman33 (. . .talk) 03:13, 26 June 2009 (UTC)
