My name is Sergey V. Zubkov. I have been a software engineer, a biochemistry researcher, a teacher, and a writer. I hold a Ph.D. in the field of organic chemistry and I am most familiar with Nuclear Magnetic Resonance. (The subject of the thesis was Total lineshape fitting analysis of high-resolution NMR spectra and conformational analysis of disubstituted five- and six-membered carbocyclic compounds.). For the last six or seven years I've been a lead software developer in an aggressive, competitive company, using modern C++.

What else? I have the rank of shodan in Shito-ryu karate-do, which was given to me by Sadatomo Harada, head of Seishinkai and another shodan given to me by Kunio Miyake, head of Miyake Shukokai International. And I'm a judge in USA NKF.

I live on Long Island.
