Adaptive Audio™ is IVR Software that dynamically adjusts the Speaking Rate (in Words Per Minute) and Audio Message Content of Voice Applications in real-time based on individual caller skills.

The process emulates what humans do naturally and instinctively to communicate more effectively with each other during normal conversation.

With Adaptive Audio added to a Voice Application, each caller’s speech and/or DTMF responses are continuously monitored for speed of entry and accuracy in real-time, node-by-node in the application script. This information is initially used to build a database reflecting the behavioral characteristics of your callers when they interact with the IVR System.

Once a behavioral database of sufficient sample size has been acquired (about 1000 calls), Adaptive Audio automatically switches the IVR to adaptive mode and subsequently adjusts the Speaking Rate and Audio Message Content based on individual caller skills.
