Greetings, I am Dan Carkner. I currently live in Vancouver, Canada, though I grew up in the hamlet of Ormond, Ontario. I normally write in English but I have previously translated to and from the French Wikipedia.

Lately I have been working at improving and creating articles related to klezmer music. And, yes, I keep an eye on them and try to clean up copying-and-pasting and self-promotion that tend to plague klezmer-related articles.
