[edit] Daniel Cull

My name is Daniel Cull, I currently work as an ethnographic objects conservator.

[edit] Wikipedia interests

I have principally been involved in working on the Conservation-restoration page, however, I have also added edits to numerous other pages and a few of the other pages I have personally started include:

I am interested in things to do with where I am from, I was born in Bristol, which at the time was part of the county of Avon, which no longer exists, I grew up in Taunton, Somerset, in the West Country, so first to clarify no it's not a funny yokel accent it's a dialect, and yes the Wurzels are heroes. Some of the particular west country things I am interested in include the legends about the old british church, Wessex, West Country Carnival, and the outdoor sculpture Willow Man. I am also interested in the origins of my family name, which is thought to come from the gaelic overkingdom of Dál Riata, and perhaps even the particular Island of Coll. As I am also interested in where we as a society may be going, I used to work at the Freedom Press Bookshop, and helped edit the Freedom newspaper, and therefore on wikipedia I am interested in editing articles to do with Anarchism.

[edit] Getting Started

When I first started out on Wikipedia the following pages were indicated to me as being useful starting points, so, I pass on those pages to anyone reading this, and so I can easily find them as I'm still really a newbie.

I have found one of the most consistently tricky, yet interesting, aspects of Wikipedia has been images; especially issues related to copyright. These pages I have found useful to learn more about the use of images on Wikipedia:
