My Name Is

My name is Desmond Charrod Ballard. I was born in Chester, Pennsylvania I currently live in Suwannee Georgia. . I graduated from North Gwinnett High School and currently attending Georgia Southern University to major in Business Management. I chose this as my major because it’s a basis for many career choices.

The Basics

I was born on May 6, 1992 to the parents of. At a very young age I had a love for music and sports and it has grown on me as I aged. I specifically love listening to Rap music. The sports that find most interesting are basketball and football. I come from a big family and they are mostly northerners. However my intermediate family that is rather small. It contains my parents, my sister, and I. I cherish my family and love them very much. I also take pride in what I do; if I’m serious about something it will get accomplished. I love doing voluntary work because it makes me realize how blessed I am. One of the things I’m proud of is helping feed the homeless in Atlanta.

Mr. Talk Alot

Since my initial language is english, its easy to assume i can speak it very well. As a speaker or interpreter of any other language, I am not that into it. The only language i could understand or speak sometimes would have to be Spanish. Since i have prior education towards the language, iut helps me in the real world. But as far as contributing to wikipedia, i wouldnt be able to give much to the website language wise.

Education and Accomplishments

I graduated from North Gwinnett High School. I graduated with a 2.7 GPA and obtain many awards while I was there. I was a part of the Spanish Club and Chorus. I also was much honored to be a part of the first African American group that started in my school. I am also proud to say that I was selected to be a part of the Honor Chorus that meets every year in Athens, Georgia with other selected students from their chorus groups at their school. However not only have I been selected all four years of my high school career I also went through a series of auditions to make the All-State Choir, which are the best of the best singers in Georgia. I have also received community service awards and chorus awards.

Goals

I plan to first get my Bachelors Degree majoring in Business Management. While I'm doing that I plan to continue with striving to be the best gamer in the world one day. I also want to become the best I can be as a student as I'm expanding my education also the best I can be as a son. I also I am curious about the world and cultures and new experiences so I would like travel the world being open to many traditions and new ideas. I have my mind set on joining a fraternity while I'm attending school at Georgia Southern. Have a goal set to graduate college with a GPA of 3.5 or higher. Overall I want to achieve all that I can and be as a student here and be proud of myself and have my family and friends proud me also.

Technology Skills

I am not very technically inclined when it comes to computers but I tend to be hands on person. However anything I did learn, I taught myself or watching others. I acquired some skill because I watched people attending to their computers and things of that sort and I pick up minor skills every now and then. Even though I’m am not the best at computers I do have enough skill to where I can figure out the problem and solve it on my own, which I think is a pretty handy skill.

Wikipedia Needs Me

I have had a few contributions to wikipedia already as an early bloomer to this website. I have edited some of others articles and even added my own twist to their things. I have also created my own article called Hundred Clothing Company. This website is for creative people to say what they need to say about something they think is important or good to know about. I helped with the article Lotion and also some others that have some value. I can even say i was advanced enough to do my own user profile. With my creativity and the way i do things will help the wikipedia community better except me and help me improve my skills.

Philosophy

Wikipedia is a great website and I was highly unaware of the helpful information present. Even though it’s a helpful website I would not make it my go to website to gather up my information. I have had many teachers in the past from Middle School all the way to High School tell me that Wikipedia is a horrible site to use however working with this excellent website for I have found this website to be significantly secure unlike the information my teachers have been feeding me all this time. I have gained new light and found out that Wikipedia would be a great source however it doesn't acquire as much information that may be substantial for a report or a project. Although it may not obtain significant amount of information I recommend it is a great website to use if you want a brief synopsis on a subject, person or idea.

Well I have a have a best friend that I have known, literally my whole life. We were born right next to each other pretty much and I have known him ever since. But the funny thing is, we introduce ourselves as brothers by blood. Also, i think YouTube is one of the best things that God invented. Without YouTube, the stuff people do in their spare time would never be seen, and to me, that's a very important thing. Most people become famous because of it and I for one have videos on there. Another fun fact is that I LOVE the Philadelphia Eagles. I have fan based stuff all over my dorm and also back at my home. There are bigger fans than me but i consider myself to be very educated about the team and i always know what is going on.
