I am a long time user of Wikipedia although I have only had the account for a short time. I do some minor anti-vandalism work, but nothing to really speak of. Unfortunatly, the bulk of the work that I have done was done while not signed in, so I have nothing to show for it.

As you have probably noticed, user boxes are displayed on my page. I have a few reasons for this, but the most important one being this. For people to be able to write informed comments on another, they must first understand that person. Ignorance may be bliss, but please keep bliss to yourself. After being informed that person can of course have a reasonable conversation with someone, but this can not occur beforehand.

My passions include political debates and reading the news. I like to keep myself updated because I feel that an informed person can make wiser decisions. I also enjoy learning about new progressions in science and other fields of study.
