My philosophy on deletion
My approach to deletion was pretty much summed up by Alphax in a mailing list post. You can read a formatted version of it here. I will admit that I don't always follow it, but I try to be guided by it as much as possible.

- I would say he certainly does not understand the Constitution, The protection of free speech is only as against a government. Don't think Wikopedia is a government. ;) MollyBloom 05:48, 6 June 2006 (UTC)
The wikipedia article for <redacted> is not an advertisement. We are simple trying to get our name out.
- Sounds like a good definition of an advertisment to me.
