Wikipedia is big. Really big. You just won't believe how vastly hugely mind-bogglingly big it is. I mean, you may think it's a long way down the road to the chemist, but that's just peanuts to Wikipedia...
You have come here because you need help, probably because I left you a comment that you find puzzling. Please note that this is not the place for messages to me, for that you need my talk page.
First: Don't panic!Wikipedia is not on a deadline. There are few things that can't be fixed by a dose of calmness and reasoned debate. If something looks wrong to you, instead of demanding it be fixed, try asking nicely why it was done. You'd be amazed how much more effective that is.
I need an admin! → There's not much an admin can do that a regular user can't. Admin can delete articles (but only under limited circumstances), admin can delete edits from history (but for permanent deletion of personal info or libel you need oversight, not a regular admin), admin can protect and unprotect articles and we can block users. Hi my name is Jake and I am from colorful Colorado in the U.S. I am definitely a deletionist and I believe in tagging anything that doesn't meet the standards even if it's a new article. I have a second account User:Hell in a Bucket mobile which redirects to my main page. All notifications go to a central mailbox.
For a commendable effort on working with a new editor. While it didn't ultimately end well, it was certainly not for lack of effort or any other fault on your part. Please continue to work with new editors and try to gently introduce them to Wikipedia. SeraphimbladeTalk to me 17:36, 10 January 2013 (UTC)

The Purple Barnstar
We've all been there. Editing Wikipedia should be something enjoyable and it's a shame that some people don't respect the hard work that goes into it. But kudos for sticking with it; they'll find something else to do eventually. HJ Mitchell | Penny for your thoughts? 20:13, 31 March 2014 (UTC)
