Hi fellow Wikipedians!

My name is Howard Berry (I have middle names but there are far too many to list!) and I've been an editor on Wikipedia since 2005. Although I edit a fair amount I believe in quality over quantity, and as such wouldn't say I'm much of a prolific editor of Wikipedia. I just like to use it when I can — so I sometimes dip in and out — and I believe that it's a very beneficial environment. Sometimes you will find me just focusing on articles, other times I'm concentrating on welcoming new members, or looking into Editor Assistance requests... I don't often stay in one place! I would say that I only know a couple of other contributors - Redvers and 23Skidoo are very lovely chaps. However I'm always happy to chat and discuss any aspect of Wikipedia (or anything else for that matter) with anyone here - so just say "hi" and I'll respond!

I recently wrote the Liza with a Z article from scratch, and I'm currently I'm enjoying the challenge of getting the ITC Entertainment article to Good Article status and working hard on the ITC Wikiproject. I don't know if anyone notices my edits, but I'm hoping that the information I put into the articles I edit prove to be useful to those interested. If anyone wants to join in and help, it would be much appreciated!

If you want to know a little bit about me... I am an award-winning editor and Apple Certified Pro and Trainer in Final Cut Pro. I have recently been working in the film industry as a visual effects editor, and previously taught sound design, video editing, 3D modelling and post-production at two different Universities. I hold an MA in Digital Practices. I live in the UK and can also be found using the community-based websites Flickr and Twitter.

My main interests are cult TV - especially the productions of Lew Grade's ITC Entertainment - a page I created here and keep striving to improve upon. If you find anything to do with ITC, I will almost certainly have it on my watch list. It's the one subject I will always keep coming back to. I will also do what I can to provide verifiable sources for reference for these articles. I recently bought a copy of TV Guide from 1956, just to prove that a quoted reference should stay in one of the ITC articles! I also have an interest in literature (The Hundred and One Dalmatians remains a firm favourite from childhood) and music, as well as the Sir Arthur Clarke Award which I am involved in as the live awards show producer.
