I was born to in Erie, Pennsylvania on April 26, 1981. After spending four years in foster care, I was adopted in 1990 and moved to East Hempfield Township, Pennsylvania. I joined the United States Army in September 1999 and completed Basic Training at Fort Benning, Georgia in February 2000.

I am a 12-year Army veteran. My deployments include Gnjilane, Kosovo (Oct 2001-May 2002) and Baghdad, Iraq (Nov 2008-Sep 2009). I am Electronic Warfare Specialist (MOS 29E).

I am enrolled with American Military University, with whom I'll complete my short-term goal of earning a Bachelor of Arts in Religion. Additionally, I hold an Associate's degree in General Studies with Barton Community College. I have been married for eight years and have a four year-old son. My wife and my son are integral to my existence, as is the Lord Jesus Christ. Eventually, I hope to become an Episcopal priest.

I am a loyal fan of all Philadelphia sports teams, and exhilarated that the Curse of Billy Penn is lifted with the Phillies' 2008 World Series championship. I am also a dedicated fan of my hometown teams: the Lancaster Barnstormers and the Hershey Bears.
