Jack Hare is a fictional character from the book Masquerade by English painter Kit Williams. Jack is sent by the Moon with a gift for the Sun in the form of a golden hare, only to find he has left it behind for the reader to figure out where.
"Jack Hare" is also the frequent online alias of a reclusive author and illustrator in Austin, Texas, proprietor of The Devil's Virtue.
