Here are a couple things that I enjoy doing to contribute to Wikipedia.

• Welcoming newcomers
• Reverting vandalism
• Encouraging newcomers to experiment with Wikimarkup by using theSandbox, their Userpage or creating their own sandbox as a subpage of their userpage (such a great way to learn and become familiar with wiki-markup and the HTML <div style=" "> element!
• Welcoming new users.
• Warning vandals and encouraging them to become helpful contributors. (it's at least worth it to make an attempt to get them to make positive contributions).
