The article was heavily vandalized during that time, as the Toronto Raptors were facing the Cleveland Cavaliers led by LeBron James in the 2018 NBA Playoffs (the Raptors article since then has been semi-protected indefinitely, including during the Raptors' championship season of 2018–19, including the playoffs, its victorious NBA Finals, and winning the Larry O'Brien Championship Trophy for the first time in Raptors history, which would have attracted very high amounts of vandalism (from both Raptors fans and fans of opposing teams (as usual), particularly fans of the Golden State Warriors as they were the Raptors' opponents in the 2019 NBA Finals) if it were not for semi-protection for obvious reasons, especially from the latter group).
