I am a biology teacher at a high school in New Mexico. I have a master's degree in education/social studies and science and a bachelor's in sociology and a bachelor's in anthropology. I have worked as an archaeologist, chemist, group counselor, teacher, librarian, and baker :) I have done a lot of amateur paleontological work, some of which has had some impact in certain areas of paleontology. I decided, while working in an organic chemistry lab, that I actually enjoyed working with people more than chemicals, and so I begin my emphasis on people and attempting to positively impact their lives. I am just really interested in how our world works, how our minds create ideas and societies and cultures. I have taught social studies, math, and science at the high school level, and found it to be a great experience. I am half Hispanic and Half-everything else, and I enjoy cultures of all types.
