A couple of things I find useful here: I am a deep believer in assuming good faith. Patience, assuming good faith and time are often the most effective solution to many contentious situations. And my wise brother once told me it is rude to point out another's rudeness. This is an extreme version of comment on content, not on the contributor. "Correcting" a user's manners is often fueling the fire. It is rare that several people leading by example doesn't eventually calm things down.

For a variety of reasons, I'm slowing down on my work here. I touch up things that don't read right to me, but have made reasonably significant updates to the following:
- Angle of Repose
- David Hilbert
- Isaac McCoy
- Orlando Ward
- Wolfgang Hildesheimer (German translation)
- News and notes: The Foundation visits Tunisia, analyzes donors
- In the news: Leading scholar hails Wikipedia, historians urged to contribute while PR pros remain shunned
- Discussion report: Discussion swarms around Templates for deletion and returning editors of colourful pasts
- WikiProject report: The Eye of the Storm: WikiProject Tropical Cyclones
- Featured content: Talking architecture with MrPanyGoff
- Arbitration report: Four open cases, final decision in Muhammad images, Betacommand 3 near closure
