Kotaro Nakayama is a Wikipedia researcher at the Center for Knowledge Structuring of the University of Tokyo, Japan. His research interests include AI and WWW, especially knowledge extraction from huge scale WWW data.
His main contribution on Wikipedia research is Wikipedia Lab, a special interest group on Wikipedia Mining, and he is working on the project as the director. In the project, he and his research group released a number of research products such as Wikipedia Thesaurus, Wikipedia Bilingual Dictionary, and Wikipedia Ontology.
