I am a
science fiction fan who lives in San Francisco, California, USA. My interests are science fiction, space exploration, futurism, transhumanism, science (especially astronomy and cosmology, quantum physics, and evolutionary biology), environmental design ( architecture and city planning), visionary art, as well as art deco and art nouveau, real estate, cooking, philosophy, transpersonal psychology, comparative religion, history, geopolitics, ethnography, vexillology (flags), chromatics (the study of color), panelology (comic books), board games, music ( rock, electronica/dance, classical, and space), photography, and going to night clubs.
I have helped to organize shows for rave dances including at times painting
psychedelic black light murals to display at the dances.
I am an
alumnus of the University of California at Berkeley, having majored in Architecture and Philosophy. My specialty in philosophy is the philosophy of Hinduism and Buddhism, as well as process philosophy and process theology. In 2010 I returned to college and I am doing additional work in architecture and working toward an associate degree in Interior Design and a Master's Degree in City Planning. I eventually plan to also obtain a degree in Art.
I have a large personal library I use for the references.
I like to collect old
world atlases and science fiction books. I have a collection of over 1,000 science fiction books, most of which I have read.

I have written many Wikipedia articles on various colors. I have written a large percentage of the content (including creating the color boxes) of a large percentage of the color articles. I also originated the idea of adding a "color in human culture" section to enumerate the cultural associations of each color.
