Hi, I'm Kevin. I am one of three Campus Ambassadors at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. I am currently double majoring in political science and history. I am also a mellophone player in the University of Massachusetts Minuteman Marching Band.
Now for my past. I was the webmaster for the Massachusetts Senior Classical League from 2010 to 2011. For the Fall 2009 semester, I attended the University of Massachusetts Lowell. While I was there, I was a member of the University of Massachusetts Lowell Riverhawk Marching Band. In addition, I am also a 2009 graduate of Barnstable High School. Whilst there, I was an active participant in my high school's marching band where I played the mellophone. One of the best things about playing the mellophone is that I was able to enjoy not having a covered part. Oh and before I forget, during my senior year, I was an officer in the local chapter of the Massachusetts Junior Classical League.
Other than school, I am an avid hiker, and aspiring peak bagger of the 48 4,000 footers of the White Mountains in New Hampshire. So far, I've climbed a bit over half of them. When I am not editing this project, I can be found reading on the couch reading whatever sparks my interest. This usually also gets me to edit an article on it.
I contribute to Wikipedia in as many ways as I can. I originally started my edits by doing minor things and plagiarizing. After receiving a final warning, I cleaned up my act. I have now learned my lesson and have now become pretty good at citing things. Originally, I worked on military history articles. Over time, I have diversified my editing interests and I can be found everywhere from the administrator’s noticeboard to a random page fixing a mistake. On February 21, 2010, I edited my 10,000th article, the local John F. Kennedy Hyannis Museum.
Now for some bragging. On the list of Wikipedians by number of edits, I am ranked 622 overall. On the list of Wikipedians by number of recent edits, I am ranked 267 overall. I am also ranked 702 on the list of Wikipedians by article count.
Well I hope that you know more about me, and if you have any questions about anything, please feel free to leave them on my talk page.
