Luca Fabbri is an Italian-born entrepreneur and advisor.

In 1990 Luca Fabbri co-founded ImTec Srl, a technology transfer and advisory company based in Naples, Italy. Luca led ImTec's specialty area in neural networks, and as a subcontractor for the Microgravity Advanced Research and Support Centre he worked on neural network architectures for decision support systems to be used by NASA's Space Shuttle crews. ImTec also specialized in image recognition, with an early application in the area of thermographic material stress analysis for jet engines. In 1991 he co-founded Vector Srl, a management consulting company, where he was instrumental in developing a ground-breaking approach to productivity benchmarks in labor relations as an advisor to Federmeccanica, the largest association representing Italian industry. In joint venture with Logica Innovazione Srl, Luca helped build the second largest Italian ISO9000 consulting practice, where he specialized in software quality assurance management. As a consultant he helped the first Italian software company achieve ISO9001 certification.
From 1997 to 2000 Luca lived in London, U.K. where as a Merrill Lynch investment banker he advised European corporations on mergers and acquisitions. Focus industries included technology, telecommunications and logistics.
In 2000 Luca moved to Orange County, California, where together with Merrill Lynch colleague Paul Pittman he founded and was COO of TheJobsite.com, Inc., a provider of online project management tools for the residential construction industry. He was then Senior Vice President of HomeSphere, Inc., the company resulting from the merger of TheJobsite.com and Builder Resources Inc. and a leading innovator in residential construction-related supply chain management and ERP solutions.
In 2003 Luca started Elk Creek Ventures Inc., an advisory firm active in corporate development, technology entrepreneurship and private equity. Clients include: Jazz Technologies Inc., a public semiconductor foundry in Southern California now owned by Tower Semiconductor Ltd. (NASDAQ:TSEM); Assured Systems Inc., an ERP software company headquartered in New York; and Fair Advisors LLC, an innovative personal finance company based in Denver, Colorado.
Luca is also a founding partner of 01 Capital, a private equity firm focused on turnarounds, spinoffs and take-private transactions of struggling technology businesses.

Luca holds a Laurea degree with highest honors from the Universitá degli Studi di Napoli "Federico II" and a Master's degree in finance from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

He lives in the mountains of Colorado with his wife Carol and his son Alex. He is a volunteer firefighter/EMT.
