About the Messages Waiting Userbox[edit]

The messages waiting userbox is intended to be used to alert the user to the existence of messages in his or her talk page. Basically, when it displays anything but 0, there's messages to read. To alert the user to the existence of a message on his or her talk page, find something that looks like this:

{{User:Lucimundatene89/Userboxen/I-MsgWait|0}}

This indicates that the user has zero messages waiting for him or her in his or her talk page. Change the parameter when you post a message by incrementing it by the number of messages you sent the user. The user is then responsible to decrement the count by the number that he or she reads.

Tips[edit]

Quick way to find the userbox code[edit]

If you search for "{{User:Lucimundatene89/Userboxen/I-MsgWait|", you'll find the userbox if it exists in the page or section without fail.
