My name is Mark Atwood, and I commonly use the username/nickname "fallenpegasus". The story behind that handle is old, long, and uninteresting.

I like to learn interesting stuff, and to meet interesting people, and then to introduce them to each other. I am an introverted people watcher, yet I enjoy public speaking. I am a professional open-source and open-standards advocate, which means that I travel a great deal to speak at and "hallway track" technical conferences.

I work for Red Hat as a developer evangelist for OpenShift cloud computing PaaS.

I live in the grey and green city of Seattle.
