Products & Services[edit]

Drug Discovery[edit]

At the earliest stages of drug discovery, AMRI helps customers identify and optimize biologically active compounds using both natural product-based and synthetic chemical libraries, along with in vitro biology capabilities. Once a lead compound is identified, AMRI provides medicinal chemistry and lead optimization coupled with technologies in metabolism and biotransformation.

Development[edit]

AMRI provides a variety of key development services to help move compounds into clinical trials including chemical process R&D, pre-formulation, formulation development, analytical development, separation sciences, bioanalytical services and scale-up.

cGMP Manufacturing[edit]

AMRI’s manufacturing facilities are strategically situated in various locations across the United States, UK and Asia. These locations are globally positioned to provide tailored customer solutions and enable the efficient and cost-effective transfer of pre-clinical, clinical, and commercial drug products from small-scale to large-scale production.

Aeseptic Fill and Finish[edit]

AMRI provides process scale-up development and aseptic filling services for projects ranging from preclinical to clinical to commercial.

  • Syringe, vial and custom container filling capabilities
  • Lyophilization services and vials
  • Stability Optimization Services (SOS)

Project Management[edit]

AMRI conducts a six stage project management process[7] . After agreeing a CDA (Confidential Disclosure Agreement) AMRI chemists evaluate the technical solutions available to the client. AMRI then assess each project in terms of its complexity, scaleability, likely batch strategy and other considerations. AMRI gathers a group of top experts in the company at this stage to identify key issues and come up with ideas for progression, regardless of who the final project manager will be. After that AMRI creates a proposal, focussing on shortening timelines, improving yields and quality and reducing costs. Having created a proposal AMRI assign a project team, lead by a designated Project Manager. Upon project competion AMRI conduct a review of the project and request and receive customer feedback.
