Main Focus[edit]

Discovering as much information as possible from reliable sources and improving wikipedia to expand the knowledge of others. I'm a very detailed person and very laid back, but I lack tolerance for people being biased. I'm a actually a specialist wit da cats from the bad boy tigers to the small iriomote cat. I have a strong interest in African American and Native American history, which is a current issue in my country the United States.

I also specialize in zoology. I believe in finding as much information as possible to help people find answers. I'm cool though I'm just persistent in focusing on the truth PEACE!!!

Ino Yamanaka (山中いの Yamanaka Ino?) is a fictional character in the anime and manga series Naruto created by Masashi Kishimoto. Ino is a childhood friend of Sakura Haruno. She is very skilled for genin, and specializes using the Mind Transfer Jutsu. She is put as the leader of Team 10 by Asuma, whom is their sensei when he isn't around to lead.

Personality[edit]

She became superficial and selfish as she got older, [2] thinking highly of her looks and having no problem telling people what she thinks, such as telling Choji that he should focus more on his appearance because girls dislike overweight boys. [3] Although both of her teammates fit the profiles of people she wouldn't associate with because of her apparent shallowness, but she actually cares deeply for their well-beings and maintains a strong bond with them. [3]

Relationship with Sakura[edit]

Sakura was often picked on due to her sensitivity about her large forehead, Ino helped her overcome this and develop her own identity. [3] [4] As Sakura's confidence in herself grew she became aware that Ino liked the same boy as she did: Sasuke Uchiha. Sakura soon ended their friendship so that the two could properly compete for Sasuke's affection, beginning a bitter rivalry between them. The two maintain this rivalry until the end of their match in the Chunin Exam, after which they begin to rekindle their friendship.[3] [5] Nevertheless, the two maintain a competitive relationship and constantly attempt to outdo the other. [6]

Abilities[edit]

As a member of the Yamanaka clan, Ino works in her family's flower shop and has become particularly talented in ikebana. The anime's filler arcs show that she's been able to find other uses for her time in the shop and can tell a person's profession by simply glancing at the condition of their hands. Being a Yamanaka has also given her access to mind-altering jutsu. [2] With the Mind Body Switch Technique, Ino can transfer to another's body (even animals as seen in Part II) and control it as her own for a short period of time. Despite the number of times she has used this ability, she rarely has any success, and is often worse off after the jutsu is performed than she was beforehand. The Mind Transfer Jutsu is usually done for spying on an enemy. [7] However, she does develop a technique to deal with this problem by cutting her hair, and using her chakra to stop the opponent from moving allowing her to be successful in the jutsu. [3] [8] This is seen in the anime when she uses this technique against Sakura. Over the timeskip she acquires the ability to use medical jutsu. While this is not explained in the manga, the anime shows it to be a result of Ino finding herself to be of no use to her teammates. As such, Ino asks Sakura to ask if she can become Tsunade's apprentice in learning medical abilities, hoping to be more useful to her friends.Ino works under Sakura and is only able to heal minor injuries. She is not a real medical nin and is considered a combat-lifesaver.
