[edit] My thoughts on wikipedia - what I love and what winds me up
> > Here < <
[edit] Of which I'm particularly proud...
Firstly, some of my very amateur but passionate photography used on wikipedia. And then...
U2 - general and constant maintenance and copyedits. Also, re-write pivotal Unforgettable Fire and Joshua Tree sections. I re-wrote the lead and added all the quote boxes - it took some time to find and choose the most fitting quotes. Of course, i was only part of collaborative effort on this page.
Indonesia - a significant player in major collaborative effort and constant maintenance. Write or re-write of geography, ecology, economics and current issues sections.
- Numerous edits over numerous articles covering the History of Indonesia, including:
-
[edit] Some of the articles I've created...
[edit] Why wikipedia keeps surprising...
- feel free to add you're own - on the condition I might remove it...
[edit] Other major expansions or re-writes...

Before you excuse yourself that this is not your only work, but it is your effort to make Indonesia article as Featured Article. Congrats!! You deserve this barnstar and even more because you're not even an Indonesian. Perhaps I can give you tanda jasa kehormatan negara, but I'm not a president yet. ;-)

The WikiProject Indonesia Star |
| For significant contribution in Indonesian-related topic, and for helping me cleaning up Magelang article. It is hard for me translating from Indonesian to English or vice versa. My mind often wonder somewhere else resulting in some poor translation and uncertainty of which part to omit. w_tanoto (talk) 23:34, 10 November 2008 (UTC) |

Javanese and neo-classical Indo-European hybrid villa. Note the Javanese roof form and general similarities with the pictured Javanese cottage.

Arguably more than most Indonesian rumah adat, Javanese vernacular homes have incorporated more European elements. While the basic form is Javanese, in particular the joglo roof, the doors are distinctly European.
