I'm a second year History student at a university in the North of England. I first started editing in March 2004, when I discovered wikipedia and decided to get involved. I'm pretty passionate about history, and my chief wiki-ambition in wikipedia is getting the history articles to an acceptable standard. Realistically, I tend to focus on European history, particularly royal history, for which I have an inexplicable fondness (I tend to focus on long dead monarchs, however, which is all that keeps me from disowning myself). I've also become more interested of late in making wikipedia more user-accessible, although I've always had a penchant for succession boxes and monarchical infoboxes.
