Cases[edit]

  1. Siim Avi. CSDA1. (Feb 2012). Created by new editor. Tagged BLP Prod. Source added by creator. Tagged for CSD A1 ("Articles lacking sufficient context to identify the subject of the article."). Article stated that subject was "elder" of Estonian town, a term for ruler in Estonia. Milowent removed CSD.--Milowenthasspoken 16:07, 7 February 2012 (UTC)
  2. FasterCures. CSDA7. Feb 7 2012. Created by new editor (first edits on 1 Feb). Tagged CSD A7 ("No indication of importance (individuals, animals, organizations, web content)."). However, article seemed to assert it was a notable think tank and was a fairly large size, a normal prod would be much less aggressive and allow creator a chance to fix any perceived issues. Milowent removed CSD.--Milowenthasspoken 18:06, 7 February 2012 (UTC)
  3. Martin Balcárek - CSDA7 - Feb 8 2012. Article created 21 Feb 2010 about possibly non-notable eastern European footballer. Tagged CSDA7 by User:Cloudz679 on 8 Feb 2012. Milowent deprods, surely a regular prod is fine here, article has been around for 2 years. Regular PROD would allow 7 days for anyone to fix if possible.--Milowenthasspoken 16:30, 8 February 2012 (UTC) -- Regular PROD expired on Feb 17 and article was deleted at that time.--Milowenthasspoken 15:54, 23 February 2012 (UTC)
  4. Evarane - CSDA7 - Feb 8 2012. New band, single released stub. YouTube vid had over 20K views, some scattered stuff out there about band, no solid media. Removed CSD and did regular PROD, figured 7 days would be enough to fix if it can be.--Milowenthasspoken 19:54, 8 February 2012 (UTC)--- For this one it appears it got retagged for CSDA7 on Feb 14, even though regular PROD had been removed. Annoying.--Milowenthasspoken 13:58, 23 February 2012 (UTC)
  5. Arrinera - CSDA7 - Feb 13 2012. Created 4:18 feb 13 by an occasional editor, did a few edits until it looked like [1]. One hour after creator was done, it was nominated for CSDA7. 11 hours later I removed CSD and added a link. Subject is a polish sports car manufacturer. Technically the article did not state why the company was notable, but a car manufacturer is very likely to be notable, in my estimation, even a start up. So CSD seemed premature and unnecessary. A normal PROD would have been much better. Prior attempts to produce an artilce on the company also seem to have been screwed with, see Wikipedia:Article Incubator/Arrinera Automotive and User_talk:JohnCD/Archive_16#Arrinera_Automotive_deletion:_My_thoughts.--Milowenthasspoken 16:19, 13 February 2012 (UTC)
  6. Lee Rogers (podiatrist) - CSDa7 - Feb 23 2012. Running for congress article dates from September 2011. Removed CSDA7, regular prod would be find if appropriate. Has some length and citation.--Milowenthasspoken 13:40, 23 February 2012 (UTC) / Followup: Same editor put CSDa7 tag back on article, which I removed, and alerted editor[2] to use regular prod if they wanted.--Milowenthasspoken 21:44, 23 February 2012 (UTC)
  7. Ashitha (model) CSDa7 - Feb 23 2012. Indian model/actress article created June 2009. Had been nominated for deletion, but also tagged for CSDA7. I removed csd tag, there's no need for hasty deletion, let AFD decide.--Milowenthasspoken 13:44, 23 February 2012 (UTC)
  8. MYRA School of Business. Feb 23 2012. New stub tagged CSDA7 but google suggested institution may be notable. Removed CSDA7 and did some quick editing.--Milowenthasspoken 13:57, 23 February 2012 (UTC)
  9. John Armstrong (of Carrick) Feb 23 2012. CSDa7 removed, article on musician made easily credible claims to support notability. no need not to be regular Prod if desired.
  10. Ganeshkar - CSDa7 Feb 23 2012. Tamil actor stub, dates from Nov 08. Had imdb link and 1 url cite. No need to speedy this.--Milowenthasspoken 15:58, 23 February 2012 (UTC)
  11. Kathleen Man Gyllenhaal - csda7 feb 23 2012 - Filmmaker, colorable notability claim. New editor trying to create, not getting much support. Regular prod may be appropriate, but does have some sourcing.--Milowenthasspoken 20:59, 23 February 2012 (UTC)
  12. American Hotel (Detroit, Michigan) csda7 feb 24 2012 - notable abandoned detroit hotel, new article from new author, no need for csda7, normal prod would work fine if notability of stub is questioned.--Milowenthasspoken 14:30, 24 February 2012 (UTC)
  13. Good Samaritan Medical Center (West Palm Beach) csda7 feb 27 2012 - csda7 removed, article clearly based on attempted notability, article created by new user. New user tried removing the speedy deletion notice a few times and got blocked for doing so. No humans offered him any help.--Milowenthasspoken 18:01, 27 February 2012 (UTC)
  14. A Great Big Pile of Leaves csda7 feb 27 2012. 1 minute search told me the band was potentially notable, article by newby was asserting notability. removed csd tag.--Milowenthasspoken 02:46, 28 February 2012 (UTC)
  15. Duo-Tang. 28 Feb 2012. Was marked for CSDA7 deletion by User:JohnnyMrNinja. Article originally created on March 1, 2006, about a name brand of folders (often used in schools) that was a popular brand for many years, parent company was acquired in 2004 and products since phased out. I removed CSD and asked nominator to consider doing a regular PROD in the future if he wanted to challenge something like this.--Milowenthasspoken 15:23, 28 February 2012 (UTC)
  16. Boris Filatov. 28 Feb 2012. Article created 29 August 2011 on potentially notable Ukranian journalist. User:Bailo26 marked for speedy deletion (CSDA7) on 13 Sept 2011. User:Vejvančický removed CSD, "I agree, this article has multiple problems, but it is definitely not a speedy candidate, it cites multiple reliable sources suggesting that Filatov is a well known person in Ukraine". on 28 Feb, first edit of User:ExtraSenSor is to retag for CSD. I removed.--Milowenthasspoken 15:36, 28 February 2012 (UTC)
  17. City Limits Magazine. 28 Feb 2012. Brand new article appeared to be in creation process by new editor when tagged CSD.--Milowenthasspoken 21:34, 28 February 2012 (UTC)
  18. Brian Jones (intelligence analyst). csda7. inexperienced editor stub linked to full on obituary in Guardian about person, clearly a notability claim there, csd not appropriate.--Milowenthasspoken 21:44, 28 February 2012 (UTC)
  19. Voyager Academy. Crappy article but schools are not available for a7 deletion. Could be regular prodded.--Milowenthasspoken 21:58, 28 February 2012 (UTC)
  20. Rocktown Rollers. 1 March 2011. CSDa7 removed, article had notability claims and sourcing.
  21. CHSLD. 6 March 2011. deleted whilst I was trying to note importance of this topic. Insane. See User_talk:Reaper_Eternal#re_CHSLD [3].--Milowenthasspoken 19:17, 6 March 2012 (UTC)
  22. Grandparents' Association. 28 March 2011. Removed CSD notice from 7 year old article.--Milowenthasspoken 18:13, 28 March 2012 (UTC)
  23. Mperia. I removed CSD A7 notice, because 6 year old article clearly was trying to assert notability. CSD'er then sent to AfD. I determined that company that created Mperia music store, BitPass, was notable, and expanded and merged content. 10x better outcome then hasty CSD.--Milowenthasspoken 03:18, 5 April 2012 (UTC)
  24. Robbie Rox. Sent to CSD A7 10 minutes after creation. I found some sourcing quickly, added one URL, removed CSD and changed to a PROD to allow authors or others to review more fully.--Milowenthasspoken 04:25, 5 April 2012 (UTC)
