About Me

Today is Saturday, March 28, 2015, 23:26 (UTC/GMT).
There are 4,752,764 articles on the English Wikipedia.

Hi there, my name is Miyagawa. I'm not Japanese - in fact, the name originally came to me from a different encyclopaedia - Microsoft Encarta 1995. It was the surname of one of the writers of the article on Japan, and I was looking for a character name for the Legend of the Five Rings Roleplaying Game when it launched in 1997; it became my character's name and afterwards my online pseudonym. It's only recently that I've discovered that it refers to the Miya River although is also a hybrid fruit.

I've gone through several interests since first editing on Wikipedia several years ago. Right now I'm knee deep in work on Star Trek, with an obsession to increase the episodes to GA standard. I also tend to wander off on military matters, as a former canman, I'd like to improve articles related to the NAAFI at some point. I'd like to thank everyone who fixes any issues with my prose - I'm really very thankful. I'm happy to respond to requests for sources, in particular regarding Star Trek. The complete list of the source books that I can easily access is here. Miyagawa (talk) 12:59, 2 January 2015 (UTC)
