Moralis, known to the rest of the world as Chance, resides in a freshly repainted apartment in Salem, Oregon. He is a recent transplant from Seattle, Washington, and is currently pursuing a belated degree in [insert major here when decided].
Incidentally, he is not averse to being referred to as "Mora" online, thanks to the denizens of a certain ancient talker/RPG.
Brief Biography of the Mora
I discovered Wikipedia shortly after its inception, at which point I was in middle school, so frequent, productive editing wasn't really on the agenda. As I slowly began to delve deeper into Wikipedia's operations, I edited frequently as whatever IP the dial-up connection in my bedroom had at the time, but most of these edits were purely janitorial in nature, and there was no consistency to the nature of my minor contributions. I didn't create an account until 2006, for the silliest of reasons: a MUSH on which I had become an established player was not listed on the disambiguation page for its common abbreviation, SW1. I joined before adding the MUSH's article to the page, using my character name as a user name and with the express intent of improving that article, before completely losing interest and discovering the CVU.
My activity since then has been in spurts. I have experienced long periods of inactivity, most of them due to a lack of internet access. While active, I have focused largely on copy editing, dispute resolution, and vandal control via IRC. At the moment, I am most interested in article improvement projects, and I have been perusing the Guild of Copy Editors as an easy source of early inspiration. However, I am more than happy to receive requests for assistance, especially in areas of expertise with which I am familiar (see below).
Areas of Interest
My day job is at a major local pet supply. My main responsibility is to stay informed on major goings-on in the pet food industry, and to further my education in canine and feline nutrition and behavior. As a consequence, I generally avoid editing articles relating to the pet industry: I have very firm opinions on most pet-related matters, and I consider myself NPOV. However, I also have ready access to several informative, highly-regarded sources on most dog- and cat-related subjects, so in specific cases regarding article accuracy or quality, I will make exceptions to this rule.
If it weren't for the need to pay my bills, I would instead be a musician by vocation. I am an avid rock fan, a guitarist, and an amateur sound engineer.
During my teen years, I was an active Sea Scout, and Scouting remains a topic of interest to me.
My major hobbies have always revolved around technology, and I enjoy contributing to computer- or video-game-related articles.
Please feel free to rope me into any projects concerning these subjects. Just drop me a note at my talk page!

The Tireless Contributor Barnstar
For your work on The Black Parade and helping me (and everyone else!) with name removed and his stupid nature of dispute removed tag, I'm giving you a barnstar! Have a great day! mcr616Speak! 00:29, 11 April 2007 (UTC)
Editor's Note: The above comment does not necessarily reflect the views of Moralis, Chance Rosenthal, or Mora. None of these completely different people should be punched in the gut. Especially if you are the person who's name was removed.
