About Me

I edit, therefore I am a Wikipedian. I do all sorts of minor tasks here to improve Wikipedia and do various maintenance tasks. I used to do significant article work but I mainly focus on the technical and meta side of the project now. I have commit access to the MediaWiki Subversion repository and am the author of several bot scripts and user scripts. I became an administrator in June 2007 and am willing to help out with admin related tasks (whatever those might be). I do support IAR as policy to know and apply, I may do things that could be considered unpopular, and I will not usually hesitate to use admin tools or bypass some procedures. I will not under any circumstances simply go through process for the sake of process. I will not do things totally out of line with policy; IAR is policy though. I have a global account so I have this username on all Wikimedia projects.
