I am Mutaz Majdoub and this is my first wikipedia.org experience.
I use wikipedia a lot, As a reference, and would like to join the community by providing and contributing content in both Arabic and English. This is my first and starting page on wikipedia to test the system and get comfortable using the system.
My background and Aim:
I work as an IT consultant for my company MSTART.com [1] in Montreal and as Senior Advisor at KAFAHALI.com [2] in Amman Jordan. I am the CEO for MSTART.com where I manage all major projects, communicating with clients and programmers.
I have more than seven years of Internet industry experience and some experience with Internet communities like the open source community; I also have contributions to the open source community by providing translated English to Arabic files and programs and I am dedicated to the continuous development of the open source industry by active participation in key industry associations and groups like what I want to do with wikipedia community now.
My Interest with English to Arabic content translation started when I worked on setting up an Arabic Portal YAHALI.com [3] where I can see the Arabic speaking Internet growth, which I think Arabic speaking will be the fastest growing Internet population in the coming 10 years. I expected more than 50 million new Arabic speaking Internet users if not more.
If I had the money, or if I can find serious group of investors that can work on translating many of the great Wikipedia English articles into Arabic. I think Arabic, with small improvement to the language, can flourish on the Internet, but in order to do this we need hard work and funding.
Maybe my first Article on Wikipedia should be Arabic Language and the Internet. This maybe a good starting point.

تخرج معتز مجذوب من جامعة ماك غيل McGill University ويحمل ا لشهادة العليا في الإدارة وشهادة البكالوريوس في إدارة الأعمال ، علاوة على ذلك فهو يحمل دبلوم عالي في تخصص تكنولوجيا المعلومات التطبيقية من معهد تكنولوجيا المعلومات في أوتوا.
