About me

My primary focuses on Wikipedia are on cleaning up (adding tags, finding references, correcting typos), helping other editors at various points, and tagging speedy deletion candidates. I occasionally like to work on articles in which I am somewhat interested, but I mostly just float around. I'll work on an article that peaks my interest, and eventually move on when I'm bored with it. Where you will find me watching over an article is typically when I've encountered a potentially ongoing problem. I am frequently available and willing to help, even when I'm on a wikibreak I'll check my talk page (I'm pretty sure I check it more than my email). If you need help, drop me a note on my talk page. If I can help, I will. If I can't, I'll find someone who can.

Deletions

I spend quite a bit of my time addressing speedy deletion candidates or articles listed in deletion debates. Although I don't necessarily classify myself as an inclusionist or deletionist, I believe that if I can save a legitimate article, I should. Likewise, If I believe an article just doesn't belong on Wikipedia at this time, I will tag it accordingly. I believe that the guidelines for CSD should generally be strictly followed. If a deletion is likely to be controversial or if an article does not meet the CSD criteria, it should be addressed through other avenues of the deletion process. If it's a problem that the CSD criteria do not cover a certain type of article, that should be dealt with through an AFD debate rather than mistagging it.

I'm currently attending Ohio University - Zanesville, getting my degree in Middle Childhood Education (Math and Social Studies).
