Nathan Brydn, (Born 27 July 1959), is an American songwriter/ guitarist from Portland, Oregon. He was born to Charles and JoAnna Bryden. He has a younger sister Cheryl, a younger sister Cathy and a little brother called Steve.

Nathan began his career recording original four track songs in a barn in Clackamas, Oregon. He spent a year as an intern at the Los Angeles Songwriter Showcase with John Braheny and Len Chandler in the early 80's. He returned to Portland, Oregon, to start a music publishing company. Nathan continues to write and perform in NW USA.

Nathan is single. He lives in rural SW Washington with his dog Hildegard Von Bingen.

Nathan graduated Clackamas Community College in 1977. He attended University of Portland in 1978 and 1979 studying electronics and music. He attended Portland State University in 1980 and 1981 studing music.

Nathan is licensed for satellite communications with Hughes Network and WildBlue. He has a Technicians license for ham radio. Currently publishes his catalog of tunes and performs live. Occasionally, he volunteers his time at Free Geek rebuilding and recycling computers.

He works mainly performing originals and cover songs on the streets of downtown Portland, Oregon and performing in local venues.
