While the LMEP page is being merged, I thought it might be worthwhile to see what we know and don't know about some of the sources that were pushed by one or a small group of editors. This may be of interest for other pages in the future where a distinction between self-published and independent sources is not clear and what to do when merit or citation counts don't appear to make sense.
