About Me

Welcome to my user page. I began editing sporadically as an anon in 2005, registered my account on Wikipedia in February 2006, and have been active regularly since the end of June 2006. In January 2007, I became an administrator. I served as an Arbitration Committee Clerk during 2007. Since January 1, 2008, I have been a member of the Arbitration Committee, to which I was elected in December 2007 and reelected in December 2010 and December 2012.

My mainspace contributions have included creating some pages and updating or expanding some articles in the area of law and legal history, but my interests range far and wide and I've been known to chime in anywhere, both in mainspace and WP space.

I am also m:User:Newyorkbrad on meta-wiki, where my primary involvement thus far was as a member of the committee that organized the 2007 Board of Trustees election, and occasionally posting requests to stewards on behalf of the ArbCom.

If you would like to comment on one of my contributions, or have any questions about Wikipedia or any of my edits or administrator actions, please feel free to leave a message on my talk page or send me an e-mail.

For some kind words that fellow editors have bestowed on me, and a few DYK's and (hopefully in the future) a GA or FA or two, please see User:Newyorkbrad/Decorations.
