Odd Eivind Torp is a political scientist. He has studied in Oslo and Bergen. He wrote his masters thesis about the British Labour Party in the period 1979-1983. His academic main interest lies on the borderline between comparative politics and historical sociology. Favourite book: Coercion, Capital, and European States, by Charles Tilly.
