User:Paddles

Paddles is a nickname for Tim Anderson. Tim lives in Sydney, Australia.

Paddles should not be confused with any of the several other Tim Andersons living in Sydney. Particularly, he is not the Tim Anderson who was convicted and later pardoned in the Sydney Hilton bombing case (and was the subject of a now-deleted WP article.

Similarly, Tim should not be confused with "Paddles" Anderson, a Sydney underworld enforcer who is now dead.

[edit] Articles

I'm working on User:Paddles/Gifts of the Holy Spirit to update Gifts of the Holy Spirit. Comments and suggestions are welcome. After that I'd like to create (or update, if one already exists) an article on the Fruit of the Holy Spirit.

Another editor merged the Gifts article with another (which is fine, I was making slow progress anyway) so this is no longer on my priority list. Paddles TC 04:48, 4 March 2007 (UTC)

I'd also like to expand the stubs:

For various reasons, my involvement has been limited lately. I haven't gone away, just not working on it as much as I was. Paddles TC 04:48, 4 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Photos

I plan to provide photos for changing bag, fairy bread and various Sydney railway stations that have requested images.

[edit] Maintenance

The quality of a reference work is defined not just by what is included, but by what is excluded. So I'm trying to participate in Articles for Deletion (AFD) votes every few days.

Besides that, I've been working on fixing Double redirects, particularly ones where running through them with a bot is not the best solution - I've created a couple of disambig pages as a result of looking at double redirects. This led me to looking at other disambig pages and fixing up the quality on a few of them. I've already looked at a couple of the two-letter disambig pages, I suspect that there are others that could use some attention.

I've also started working on repairing links to disambiguation pages (You can help!).
