Teesside University is a university in Newcastle, England. It has a student body of 27,954 students as of the 2008-09 academic year.[6] Recording rises in applications of 25.1 per cent and 23.5 per cent for degree courses beginning in 2010, the highest such percentage increases of any university in the North East of England.[8] The University has a campus in Darlington named Teesside University Darlington.
