[edit] Uncontainable-second-nature
Uncontainable-second-nature (Te Kore-Rongo-Hungaora)is curated by Ian Clothier with an advisory panel of Nina Czegledy, Trudy Lane and Tengaruru Wineera, for ISEA 2011 Istanbul. The exhibition crosses cultural and discipline boundaries. A cultural bridge has been constructed, providing a framework of both Maori and European knowledge. Five themes from within European and Maori world views were located.
Given the intercultural bridge, works from art and science are recontextualised as cultural texts symbolic of belief systems. Discipline is not fixed, but fluid in a transformational environment. In the exhibition, digital and post-digital exist in a state of hybridity.
Included are works by Julian Oliver, recipient of the Golden Nica at Prix Ars Electronica in 2011, Lisa Reihana, Julian Priest, Sonja van Kerkhoff, Sophie Jerram and Dugal McKinnon, Rachael Rakena, Jo Tito, Associate Professor Mike Paulin (Zoology), Paul Moss and Te Huirangi Waikerepuru.

Te Kore Hungaora - Uncontainable Second Nature
- Te Kore Rongo Hungaora Uncontainable Second Nature was a project of ISEA 2011 Istanbul. The traveling version is a selection of work shown in Istanbul.
- The project was constructed on a cultural bridge between Maori and European of New Zealand. Culture is usually presented separated and distinct. Given the intercultural bridge, works from art and science are recontextualised as cultural texts symbolic of belief systems. Discipline is not fixed, but fluid in a transformational environment. In the exhibition, digital and post-digital exist in a state of hybridity.

I was also a 'discussant' at the Imaginary Futures event, and participated in the Second Nature - Round Table event.
I was there, and listed as a particpating artist with photo, I made a documentary for TV about this event. I rest my case.

:. NEWS!! the wikipedia hilarity continues.. lol guys. (see my discussion page)
- .
- I started here on wikipedia in October 2005 as user:mozasaur, but changed later to my birth name to be totally clear about who i am. My name is Paul Moss.
STUFF - Significant and Reliable Media Verification of who I am and what I do;
-
- looking at the website of the book i illustrated somewhat lead me to the STUFF link quoting me "The book features the work of many New Zealand photographers including Wellingtonian Paul Moss. Mr Moss said many amateur photographers watch the sky and take unique photographs. “It is wonderful to see their work in print”." http://www.scoop.co.nz/stories/ED0709/S00091.htm
-
- Mr Harrop (Publisher) paid tribute to the astronomers and photographers who had supported the project. “There is a vast wealth of material available for such a book, particularly on the internet, and our design experts have been faced with the happy task of selecting the most dramatic and instructive items.” http://www.scoop.co.nz/stories/ED0709/S00091.htm
I'm a wikipedian, I will continue to improve wikipedia under my real name as user Paul Moss. I gave hundreds of awesome and useful images for wikipedia use under user:mozasaur
- A curious thing; I dont recall anyone ever verifying my images as true and referenced, it seems to me to be at odds with the rules as expounded by so many editors to verify or remove anything in this space.
- .
I am clearly notable, [1] with countless widespread media reports about me and what I do, global awards, national records, etc etc. I'm reported in National Newspapers (86,000 - 1,000,000 circ), National Television documentary (incalculable viewers), and on National Radio (500,000 listeners).. and published in international magazines, (70,000 - 700,000 circ)
I ranked #1 in google.com for 5 full years before i got here, and dropped to #2 for 5 years subsequently, due to the multiple people with my name, and the other bio on wikipedia.. Ive even dropped further for short periods on a few occasions, (Google dancing its monthly dance) however as of April 2010 i'm back to #2 and July to #3, and back to #2 at end of August. That is a basic npov proof for my notability, as my name and achievements have been linked back to me, on multiple reputable sites, such as NASA, and its not that hard to figure out. Ive been #1 on Google NZ for a full 10 years now. google result (oh and I take out most of the page, lol)
I won a GLOBAL award for Most Outstanding Individual highly commended, w certificate and gold medal (100HA UNESCO IAU IYA2009).

- quote from the newspaper a few years back...
Terry Shannon nominated for Wikipedia deletion Not notable. Ah, I see By Mike Magee Thu Feb 22 2007, 13:56 THE LATE TERRY SHANNON has been nominated for deletion from Wikipedia on the grounds he wasn't notable.
You could say many things about Terry, but notable he certainly was.
You can say many things about Wikipedia too, one being the fact that its editors are notable for sticking their own heads up their bums instead of looking for a light switch.

[edit] Kinda funny
-
- So a funny thing, wikipedians are real quick to knife you in the back, front, sides, poke you in the eye, break your heart, in fact skin you alive, when they get the notion that youre somehow unworthy, and especially if you happen to be a passionate contributor here, oh no! cant have notability and be an editor too!! oh my gosh, cant possibly allow that evilness.. so when the proof is eventually AVAILABLE, so that verification availabilty is impossible to refute, do they rush at fixing the mess-up? nah... that would mean that they were wrong, and no one can be wrong in this space, full of arrogance and rightness. Well times up guys, do the right thing, and BE the encyclopedia you claim to be, and REPORT OBJECTIVELY THE FACTS ABOUT ME. (btw you have had a year now).
-
- ..unfortunately in some ways my contribution to society, and public service websites and web activities are viewed a bit negatively here, but fortunately and joyously they are highly valued elsewhere. I am simply gifting as much as I can to the world and at the same time wondering how i will earn an income.. please feel free to visit my sites about music and the sky, use the pics, enjoy the news.. movies [ Rakiura Films].. music [ RAKIURA MUSIC] .. astronomy SHARING SPACE http://www.astronomy.net.nz

NOVEMBER 2009. Space Radio. [1] Reported in hundreds of locations in the media across New Zealand. [2] I directed a show called Space Radio that played opening night in the Museum of Audio Visual at Foxton. I meticulously planned the entire show. I also chose the composers, the visual artists, the camera crew, and created and supplied visual content. I chose the production equipment, the suppliers, and directed the technical operation, which became quite complex. The music and visual show was funded by Creative New Zealand and the Horowhenua Community Trust, and was part of a greater set of events at the Museum, including a presentation on HOLST the Planets; with visuals by Haritina Mogasanu, and narrated by Frank Andrews. Also, a series of historic movies that I chose from the Film Archive Library, curated by Cathy, was shown on the big screen. We used a 5k projector. [3]
OCTOBER 2009. Galilean Nights and Sidewalk Astronomers on Midday Report National News

(Oct 23rd 2009) anyway they did play some of my interview to the entire country, and that means to the world, and repeated it several times, even posting th efile to their website for 7 days as they do. Firstly, the Levin Stargazers WON the 'Community Outreach' award and secondly I received a 'Highly Commended' for the 'Most Outstanding individual'.
