Profile: I'm a Filipino with a degree a B.S. in Biochemistry at San Francisco State University · I am also a regular columnist for a Filipino American newspaper based in South San Francisco · My intention in contributing to wikipedia is to ensure that Filipinos could see the vast wonders that our cultural heritage has to offer, one that most Filipinos are usually unaware of.
I'm mainly familiar with kulintang music because of my work as a teacher's assistant for Master Danongan Kalanduyan, the only Master of Maguindanaon kulintang music living in the States · We worked together to create the online textbook, "Traditional Music of the Southern Philippines." · Not surprisingly, most of my contributions therefore are related only to that topic.
