I'm an evangelical Christian from Iowa.
My present focus on Wikipedia is related to the Government section of WikiProject Iowa, particularly with regards to Iowa legislators (watchlist) and Iowa elections.

My To Do List

- Create/update articles, ensuring they are to the standard of existing articles.
- Continue making sure that House terms are listed for senators - noting that Joe Seng's isn't. doing
- Make sure that House terms are completed for representatives - Wayne Ford's isn't. doing
- Make Iowa legislature articles footnote formatted.
- Double-check senators who are listed as serving only 2-year terms - Eg. Amanda Ragan. doing
- Do the "born"s in the article text.
- Do the alma maters in the infobox.
- Find out inauguration dates and replace term starts/ends with them. Keep an eye out for those whose terms really DO start or end in unusual years (special elections/resignations). doing
- Check Project Vote Smart for additional information on officials elected since 2006 (and maybe even 2004). note: These links go dead over time.
- According to Template talk:Infobox Officeholder, common name should be used in infoboxes. Fix it so that full name is used in article and common name in infobox. Leave explanation in "reason" spot.
- Check Wally Horn and see if he served in the Iowa House before 1972. doing?
- Make sure headers are in place for current/former Speakers, President of the Senate, etc. As well as Majority/Minority leaders. Sample is done for Mary Lundby. Note that sample is only for template on bottom, not for inbox.
- Create decent articles for elected Iowa Cabinet officials.
- Add the external links from the Senators' to the Representatives' pages. (I think this was referring to {{CongLinks}}.)
- Add electoral history to lists. doing
- Create/update/standardize election articles per discussions.
- Add photos to other-language versions of the articles.
- Do miscellaneous tasks you didn't bother adding to the list.
- Add short descriptions to all persondata templates. Note that User:Waacstats has already done many of these.
- Create lists similar to the ones at
 List of current members of the Maryland House of Delegates and List of current members of the Maryland Senate.
- Consider taking up User:Cindamuse's suggestion to join the Ambassador program.
- Ensure that the lead of each article indicates the party.
- Update URLs to the new legislative website (use multi-term link because it doesn't go out of date).
- Double-check all candidates from 2010, the PDF doesn't list party affiliations, check against the candidate list, which does.
- Completely off-topic, but consider creating Manifesto (The City Harmonic single)?
- Ensure they are listed on their correct disambig pages. (last name, first name, etc. as appropriate)
- Localize my signature for various-language projects.
- Consider creating galleries for each member of the legislature, based on their commons categories.
- Make galleries for the House and the Senate for each General Assembly. doing
- Get simple:Iowa up to Good Article status.
- Get Iowa up to Good Article status.
