I'm a botanist/organismal biologist. I'm particularly interested in edible plants, and all the complications that arise with regards to both common names and scientific names for those. I fix various errors or unfortunate phrasings on Wikipedia (mostly in plant related articles) when I come across them, and try to contribute to articles related to my hobbies.

- Random article on Waray Wikipedia: Bots have been working on Waray, Cebuano, Swedish, Dutch and Vietnamese wikipedias to create organism stubs. If you search for a random organism on the internet, chances are, if it has a WMF article, it's not on en.wikipedia nor Wikispecies. And Waray et al. are increasingly what is parsed by Wikidata. In contrast to 1+ million bot generated articles, en.wikipedia has ~290K articles on organisms (actual article pages with a species microformat) and Wikispecies has 400K pages in article space (including redirects).
