My name is Patrick Thurmond and I am a web developer. For years I have been addicted to science. Slowly that addiction evolved to include technology and the internet. Once the internet became big and I started to look for a way out BAM! I was sucked back in by the vile world of programming for the web or "web development". This development addiction, specifically in PHP dynamic websites, has followed me through college, multiple jobs, and now my career. It is eating me alive, I fear that my fate is inescapable. I fear that I will never leave the haunting world of PHP programming and social networking.

My never-ending addiction has brought me full circle, I am now a dreaded blogger that talks about political issues, human rights, consumer rights, and beards. My blog, Pjerky.com, is where I rant and rave and try to draw attention to these issues. And important they may seem, they are only a further sign of my madness!
