I like Tuesday because now I've made a few more Toolserver measured edits. When it comes to edit counts I always use the sum of my contributions and deleted contributions. This is because I spend a large amount of my time on recent changes and proposed deletions - which means many of my edits are deleted. So, I think the total edit count better reflects my contribution to the encyclopedia.

What do I hope to add to Wiki?

My focus is on two areas: deletion and the development of articles on Essex towns and villages.

At heart I thought I was a deletionist but now I think I'm an exclusionist. I believe WP should not be a dumping ground for trivia. On the other hand I don't want to see salvagable stuff deleted so I patrol proposed deletions to ensure they have been properly notified to major contributors and have not been proded before or deproded. I will deprod, improve, prod-2 or AfD as appropriate. I also participate in AfD, IfD and DRV.

I have a particular interest in the towns and villages of Essex and I am targeting the red wikilink articles. Two Three Four Five Six down, many more to go!

Finally, I hate vandals especially the insidious kind and carefully check all modifications to articles on my Watchlist.
