Hello, I'm just a middle-aged dude named Bob who resides near Seattle in the wet, wild and woolly state of Washington, USA. I'm employed as an IT professional supporting UNIX operating systems. My particular interests herein lie primarily in the areas of astronomy, military history, role-playing games, science fiction, and, of course, computers. But I'm also interested in the Gutenberg project, hiking, music, comedy, sketching, computer graphics, the physical sciences and space exploration.
