Currently on indefinite wikibreak, but couldn't resist making a dig at the rampant "drive by tagging" going on that is IMHO defacing way too many good pages around here Renmiri (talk) 05:51, 19 March 2009 (UTC)

My work as a Wikipedian

For the past two years I mostly worked on various Final Fantasy pages, usually those for Final Fantasy X and Final Fantasy X-2 both Featured Articles (Featured article) as of August 2006. Icon biggrin.gif. My last work was on the sprucing up of the Link (The Legend of Zelda) which was under FA Review and passed. On July 2007 I was added to the WPFF hall of fame for being a longstanding contributer to the project, having worked extensively on at least 3 FA articles of the project. Heh, not even that saved me from the wrath of those who delete rather than write :(

MediaWiki

Other

Current and upcoming work

  1. Getting the Final Fantasy X page to Featured Article status Done :-)
  2. Sprucing up Blitzball page so it gets to not so bad statusDone, alas it needs work again
  3. Watching FF article, helping on FA and peer reviews when I can
  4. Being vocal against deletionists and drive by taggers. They may delete my articles and images all they want, they won't shut me up

Stuff I'm proud of

I, Seancdaug, present this barnstar to Renmiri in recognition of the excellent Final Fantasy screenshots she has provided for use on Wikipedia. – Seancdaug 00:53, 12 February 2006 (UTC)

Uploaded Image / Sound Gallery

This gallery is here to show the accuracy of my "fair use" claims for each image I uploaded. I uploaded over 100 pictures so far, in an effort to answer to the request expressed at the the recommendation at the FFX Project page which has a list of Articles that could be improved with images on the things they still need help with. The following are the images I have uploaded to Wikipedia, to use on the articles I'm working on (mostly the ones on the "improve with pictures" list). I took the pictures or sound samples myself from FFX and FFX2 using the technology listed below:

Technology used to capture the pictures below

  1. SC - Screen Capture from PS2 with video board software done by myself (I own both games: FFX and FFX2)
  2. SB - Scan from book done by myself from FFX and FFX2 media or art I own, usually from The Art of Final Fantasy X book
  3. SCH - Screen Capture from DVD of movies FFX and FFX2 launched in Japan (I own both the Final Fantasy X DVD and the Final Fantasy X-2 DVD)
  4. SCL - Screen capture from game video captured with my videoboard (lower definition than capturing from game directly)
  5. SO - Scan from book Final Fantasy X Ultimania, not done by me, but by others who allegedly own it (usually from Hikoto)
  6. WS - Shot captured from the Web
  7. SND - 30 second sound sample recorded from game or Final Fantasy X Original Soundtrack which I own

Missing Images:Never dance the Roomba

Any red links below are due to Roomba and other wiki bots. See my user talk for details. Meh... I gave up fighting to keep pictures. All of the missing pictures are loaded at my own Wiki

Here are screen captures that require a lot of patience to capture in the game, but were easy to get from the movie:
