Rich Drezen is an award-winning American independent film producer from Massapequa, Long Island, NY. He was born February 4th, 1985 in Rockville Centre, Long Island, NY. Since the age of eleven he has produced his own films. As of 2007, he has amassed a filmography of 100 films. He also writes his own comic strips, the best known of which featured Luckyzilla®, an invincible, mutant wolf-like creature who flies, wields electricity, and conceals his abilities within his human identity of city detective, Bruce Deodato. Luckyzilla has appeared in approximately twenty-three Drezen films. In May 2006, two Luckyzilla® animated shorts, "Atomix" (2004) and "All in A Day's Work" (2005) were screened in New York City as part of the New York International Independent Film and Video Festival. "Atomix" (2004) received a Genre Award for Best Animation. As of January 2007 has broken the live-action barrier in a made-for-television pilot, "Rich Drezen's Luckyzilla®". Rich has his own website, which is undergoing renovations. One of the renovations is to include a Luckyzilla® radio drama. [1] He is also an avid film buff who claims to have a collection of at least 2,000 film shorts and features, including his own.
