Research[edit]
His research is concerned with pilgrimage practices in contemporary Ireland. Through the cast studies of Croagh Patrick, Lough Derg and a selection of holy wells, he shows how the rituals and traditions of pilgrimage are embedded in the landscape as a living heritage.
